Top 5 Rose Scented Beauty Products

Top 5 Rose Scented Beauty Products

Confession: I hate roses. Please don’t buy me roses because my face will not be able to hide the fact that I think they’re pretty terrible. They’re cliché and super traditional and honestly way too expensive. However! I LOVE rose scented things. I basically have a whole drawer full of beauty products that carry the scent because I really can’t stop myself from buying them. Here, I’ve come up with a list of my top 5 rose scented beauty products. I use these things pretty much every day and I don’t know what I was doing before any of them came into my life.

Lush Rosy Cheeks Fresh Face Mask

This mask is clay based and has chamomile and rose in it to make it really calming on my skin and leaves me feeling soft and smooth every time. It’s also one of Lush’s “fresh” masks which means it needs to be refrigerated. Some people really love the cooling effect of this on their skin but I’m a wuss and don’t like putting cold things on my face so I just set mine out like 10 minutes before I’m going to use it to reduce the chill factor.

Mario Badescu Rose Facial Spray

I get this spray in the travel size so I can bring it anywhere because I love it so much. I spray this on before my moisturizer, when I get really hot, on planes to protect from getting dried out, or any other time my skin needs a little pick me up. It’s so refreshing and has brightening properties which is great for your complexion. Bonus: My sister started me on spraying this stuff on my Beauty Blender instead of using tap water and I’m OBSESSED.

Herbivore CocoRose Body Scrub

It’s a little pricey but this body scrub is no joke. I use it once or twice a week on my KP on my arms and thighs and I see noticeable results that very few other products give me (high praise). The blend of coconut oil and rose leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturized once I’m out of the shower and honestly, you cannot beat the smell.

Sephora Sleeping Mask in Rose

Originally, this list had like three different face masks but I figured you guys would get the idea: if it has rose in it, I’m probably putting it on my face. If you haven’t ventured into the world of overnight masks, I highly recommend. They work while you sleep which is like a no brainer to me and ones like the rose mask from Sephora protect your skin from drying out at night and keep you looking fresh in the morning so maybe you can actually say “I woke up like this.”

Smith’s Rose Salve

I saved the best for last! This is probably my favorite rose product I’ve ever found. This little blue tin is basically magic. You can definitely use this as the best lip balm you’ve ever tried but its powers don’t stop at supple lips. I found this product while I was looking for something to help soothe whisker burn (don’t ask). I would put it on the irritated patches on my face and it worked like a charm. I started putting it on the dry skin around my nose when I got sick once and loved how it soothed but didn’t make me feel greasy. I even use it on light acne scars and they literally start to disappear. It’s incredible. Just go buy it. Please. Your face is begging you.
